TPD REGULATIONS PROHIBIT E-LIQUID FROM CONTAINING THE FOLLOWING SUBSTANCES:
Vitamins or other additives that create the impression that tobacco products provide health benefits or reduce health risks;Caffeine or taurine or other additives and stimulant compounds associated with energy and vitality;Additives with emissions;Additives with CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic for reproduction) properties in unburned form.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A comprehensive toxicological assessment of compounds in e-liquid and their emissions is required;The primary material used to fill the bottle shall be recycled Type 1 PET plastic;Advertisements are strictly limited;Cross-border selling restrictions may apply;Retailers and manufacturers must share market data and trends with competent authorities;Member states can effectively ban individual products if sufficiently reliable data are available.
